Become a Climate Activist
Understand the planet, then do something about it.

About this course
This course introduces students to environmental awareness and responsibility. Learners explore carbon emissions, pollution, deforestation, wildlife conservation, endangered species and planetary safety. Through books, resources, discussion and worksheets, students build knowledge, and the mindset to protect the planet.
What is included
- Climate science at the right level
- Conservation and biodiversity
- Discussion-led, not doom-led
- Ends with a personal action project
Who this course is for
Ages 8–12 who care about animals and the planet, and children who have absorbed a lot of climate anxiety without much explanation. The tone is deliberately practical rather than frightening.
What you will be able to do
- Explain the greenhouse effect in your own words
- Distinguish pollution, deforestation and climate change
- Name the causes of species decline and what helps
- Plan and carry out a small local action
How the course is structured
Weeks 1–2: How the planet works
Climate, carbon and the greenhouse effect, at the right level.
Weeks 3–4: What is going wrong
Pollution, deforestation and habitat loss, with evidence rather than alarm.
Weeks 5–6: Wildlife
Endangered species, conservation, and what has actually worked.
Weeks 7–8: Your action
Each student plans and runs a small real project, then reports back.
Frequently asked questions
We are careful about this. The course spends more time on what helps than on what is broken, and every unit ends with agency rather than despair.
It sticks to established science and to actions individuals and communities can take. It does not campaign for parties or policies.
Student-chosen and small: a school recycling push, a household audit, a presentation to their class.

How it runs
Live online · discussion & worksheets: taught live, never pre-recorded, with sessions recorded afterwards so students can revisit anything they missed. Timings are arranged around school and time zones, and we reschedule when exams or travel get in the way.
Learning Bubble teaches online to students across Pakistan, Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, as well as the Gulf, the UK and North America. You will need a laptop or tablet with a working camera and a reasonably stable connection. If a course requires any materials at home, we send the list before the first session.
