SAT test centres in Pakistan

The SAT is offered at approved centres in major cities, including Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, usually at schools that host international testing. Centres and seats change every year, so use the test-centre search on College Board when you register. If your city has no centre, plan travel early.

Choosing your SAT test date

International SAT dates usually fall in August, October, November, December, March, May and June. Work backwards from your application deadlines:

  • Early applications (November deadlines): aim to have a good score by October
  • Regular decision (January deadlines): November or December is usually the last practical date
  • Leave room for a second attempt. Many students improve on a retake

Our guide when to take the SAT explains the timing in detail, and what is a good SAT score helps you set a target.

Before you pay: is your score ready?

At over USD 100 per attempt, it pays to know your level first. Take a full practice test in Bluebook, then compare it with your target universities. If the gap is large, a structured plan like our four-month SAT preparation timeline helps you use the time well.
