Art Rebels: online course at Learning Bubble

About this course

A bold and expressive art course for young creatives. Each session introduces a new style or technique, sketching, painting, mixed media, experimental art, without heavy theory. Students are encouraged to explore, experiment and express freely, building confidence and creative independence.

What is included

  • A different technique every session
  • Sketching, painting, mixed media
  • Experiment-first, theory-light
  • Builds real creative independence

Who this course is for

Ages 12–18 who want to make art without a term of theory first. Suits both experienced drawers and people who stopped at age nine.

What you will be able to do

  • Work confidently in several media rather than one safe one
  • Start a piece without waiting to feel inspired
  • Take a technique further than the demonstration
  • Build a habit of making rather than planning

How the course is structured

  1. Session 1: Line and mark

Sketching approaches, including several that feel wrong at first.

  2. Session 2: Colour

Painting techniques, with permission to overdo it.

  3. Session 3: Mixed media

    Combining materials, collage and texture.

  4. Session 4: Experimental

Rule-breaking work, then a group share of everything made.

Frequently asked questions

A basic set: pencils, paper, and cheap acrylics or watercolours. We send the exact list before session one and keep it deliberately inexpensive.

Two of the four sessions are not drawing at all. This course is built for exactly that student.

Sharing, not marking. Nothing is graded.

How it runs

Live online · studio style: taught live, never pre-recorded, with sessions recorded afterwards so students can revisit anything they missed. Timings are arranged around school and time zones, and we reschedule when exams or travel get in the way.

Learning Bubble teaches online to students across Pakistan, Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, as well as the Gulf, the UK and North America. You will need a laptop or tablet with a working camera and a reasonably stable connection. If a course requires any materials at home, we send the list before the first session.
